Hunt Packages

Our customized hunting packages allow you to select your specific choice of service and amenities. Whether it's a half-day father-son hunt or a corporate getaway for up to seven clients, prospects or associates, the S.M. Brown Game Bird Ranch makes the ideal destination.

And unlike other wingshooting operations, our packages don't charge by the bird (which we believe takes way from the genuine Texas upland hunting experience). In fact, our packages have no bag limits whatsoever. This gives our hunters more bang for the buck and a decidedly better value than other lodges. Whether you'd like to concentrate on a single species or a mixed bag, we can customize a hunt package just right for you.

Our hunting season runs from October 1st through March 31st, with morning hunts running from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and afternoon hunts from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (weather permitting). All half and full-day packages include guide, dogs, cold beverages, snacks and bird cleaning/packing service. All-inclusive (overnight/multi-day) packages include comfortable accommodations and delicious, home-cooked meals.

All hunts require a 50% non-refundable deposit in advance. In cases of cancellation, hunts may be rescheduled during the current season. We ask that you please provide us with at least 48-hour cancellation notice.

	Basic Half-Day Hunt 9:00am to noon or 2:OOpm to 5:00pm This mixed-bag hunt (Quail, French Red Leg Partridge, and Pheasant) includes exclusive access to our hunting area where you'll be accompanied by a guide and well trained bird dogs. Transportation to the fields, bird cleaning, and a sumptuous meal are all included. $500/hunter Select Package Basic Half-Day Hunt plus Over-night Lodging and Meals $625/hunter The Gold Package Two Basic Half-Day Hunts plus Over-night Lodging and Meals. $1075/hunter Specials Ask about our Special Package Deals Point System Skeet Shooting Camping, Fishing, & Horseback Riding on the Red River		European Pheasant Shoots Breakfast and lunch included as well as bird cleaning and packaging. 12 to 24 shooters $449/hunter Dove Hunting 1 Full Day Includes access to hunting areas. (Meals & bird cleaning not included.) $100/hunter Duck Hunting Fully Guided Morning Duck Hunt 2-hunter minimum (Meals and lodging are not included.) $200/hunter TWO Birds with ONE Shell Special Matt Brown created this special package for two reasons... 1. There are many hunters with really good dogs that have no place to work their dog that provides a real hunting experience. 2. Lots of hunters are looking for hands on help in training their dog. With this package... • You get to work with your dog in a real hunting experience. • You get to shoot lots of birds. • You and your dog get hands-on training and advice from professional dog trainer, Matt Brown. The hunt itself is exactly the same as our Basic Half Day Hunt except that you use your dogs, not mine. I accompany you and your dog as hunting guide and coach. $450/hunter

Unless specifically included in the hunt description, meals and lodging are available for an additional fee.
